Pink Angels Volunteer Program – Hong Kong<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Pink Angels”<\/strong>\u2014a dedicated volunteer team of breast cancer survivors \u2013 provide peer support and free treatment accompaniment services to breast cancer patients in Hong Kong.  To ensure our support services remain current and effective, and to continuously enhance our volunteers’ skills, the Alliance organizes regular expert-led training programmes and workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following are the core training programmes offered to volunteers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pink Angel Volunteer Training Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Programmes aim to equip volunteers with:
\u2714 Psychological first aid<\/strong> \u2013 Addressing patient distress
\u2714 Active listening & empathy<\/strong> \u2013 Key communication techniques
\u2714 Practical caregiving strategies<\/strong> \u2013 Tailored to breast cancer needs<\/p>\n\n\n\n
